This is meant as a companion to my article on how to write audio drama casting calls. Please read it first! It explains my thought process. But if you know what you’re doing and want a simple template, you’re in the right place.

Audition Instructions
- We’re looking for broadcast quality audio, with no background noise or reverb.
- No previous voice acting experience required. We encourage new VAs to audition!
- Slate your name at the top of your audition.
- No more than 2 takes, in ABC ABC format (read all the lines, then go back again).
- Submit files as a mp3, named Character_YourName.mp3
- Separate files for each character, please, if you’re auditioning for multiple.
- Submit files via this google form.
[Optional Additions]
Voice actors of all genders are welcome to audition for any character. For audition lines that are exchanged with another character, you do not need to read the lines for that other character.
Questions about auditioning? Email [your email here], but don’t submit your auditions here, as they will be discarded.
